Practical Life
Practical Life is the underlying foundation for success in the rest of the areas as it gives birth to the logical thinking. The activities are distilled from our everyday life. Each activity allows the child to gain independence and helps to develop sense of order, concentration, responsibility and coordination of movement.

Sensorial
Education of the senses through the sensorial materials, allows the child to discriminate and classify the impressions, entered through each of his senses. Scientifically designed materials isolate impressions for each sense and facilitate the development of the intellect through hands-on exploration. Through these materials the child is able to identify, refine and classify information, create order, and increase an understanding and awareness of the environment. Children learn to identify and internalize concepts such as size, shape, colour, taste, temperature and sound through the sensorial materials in the environment.
Language
Language exercises assist in the effective development of oral language, listening, interpreting, and writing and reading skills. Children discover that exploration is limitless with the acquisition of reading and writing. Children begin this journey expanding their vocabulary, learning the phonetic sounds of the letters of the alphabets, reading phonetically, acquiring a repertoire of phonograms and sight words, and eventually expanding their reading abilities to enable them to read text and create wonderful stories. The exercises guide children to decode words and comprehend the meaning of text.
Mathematics
Mathematics enables the child to enjoy his mathematical journey from the concrete to the abstract through manipulation, experimentation and invention. The child sees and experiences himself that Math makes sense. Children develop a concrete understanding of mathematical concepts and operations. Using the math materials, children use their mathematical minds to count quantities, identify numerals, sequence numbers, and experience addition, multiplication, subtraction and division at a concrete level.

The Montessori Cultural Studies curriculum provides children with an opportunity to explore the larger world. As part of a rich exploration of the different cultures of the world, students learn about the people, terrain and animals of each continent as they study them in the course of the three-year cycle.
